摘　　要：Along with the changing world, English vocabularyis changing all the time. Some of the words fall into disuse; and at thesame time, some new words come into the language. In addition toborrowing, we have this large number of English words through suchways as compounding, blending, shortening, affixation, analogy, contrast,conversion and backformation.
