摘　　要：西方马克思主义者沃勒斯坦创立的世界体系理论在社会科学界产生了重要影响。它对西方主流的现代化发展理论进行了批判,并对16世纪以来的世界历史提供了自己的理解。它强调世界体系与资本主义是一个硬币的两面。沃勒斯坦指出现代世界体系本质上是一个不平等的资本主义经济体,这对寻求发展之路的国家具有警示作用。Wallerstein who is a Western Marxist created theory of the world system in1970s,which had an important impact on social science.He criticizes modernization theory which is mainstream of development theory in the west,and provides his own understanding about world history from the 16th century.Wallerstein emphasizes that the capitalist and world system are the two sides of a coin.He points out that the modern world system is essentially an unequal capitalist economies,which is a warning for developing countries.
