改革大学英语评价体系 提高英语应用能力——大学英语四、六级网考之我见

摘　　要：传统的英语测试一直忽略了对学习者英语应用能力的检测,这在一定程度上导致应试教育体制下的很多大学生不具备应有的英语应用能力,要改变这种现状必须改革现行的评价体系,尤其是改革作为大学英语教学指挥棒的全国大学英语四、六级考试。正向全国推行的四、六级网考相比传统的四、六级考试发生了重要变革,是一次自上而下的以提高学习者英语应用能力为目标的尝试,期望通过以网络为平台、以考查学习者听说能力为重点来促进学习者对语言的实际应用以达到提高语言应用能力的目的。The traditional English tests pay no attention to English learners＇ application ability, which results in the fact that many college students are not qualified English users. One efficient way to change the situation is to reform current evaluation system,especially the cet -4/6.Compared with traditional cet-4/6, the internet-based cet-4/6 aims to improve Chinese students＇ English application ability by emphasizing listening and speaking and making full use of the internetbased English learning and teaching software.
