摘 要:意象是美学、文艺学和艺术学等学科的核心范畴。现代学人意象研究存在着结构性的缺陷,以直线演进的方式描述意象理论的形成史,忽略了由指示意义的符号向审美范畴转化所需的中介环节。在《周易》系统中"意""象"之间存在着线性的逻辑关系,而《老》、《庄》系统中的"象"和"意"属于非线性的心理感应关系。"山水以形媚道"命题的提出和"取之象外"的艺术实践,推动两个系统的理论汇流。在"意""象"二元结构的基础上转化生成"象""意""道"之三维结构。由"意象"内涵中孵化出"意境"概念。"意境"是"意象"的自然延伸,"意境"的产生标志着"意象"理论的成熟。意象批评短于动态的历史分析,在意象研究中应补充历史的维度。Image is the core category derived from the traditional culture in some subjects such an art.literature and the aesthetics.'Image',in terms of philosophical meaning,has two theoretical sources:Zhouyi and Lao-Zhuaug.There is a linear logical relation between'meaning'and'form'in Zhouyi but a non—linear mental induction between'Tao'and'idea'in Laozi and Zhuangzi.The proposition'mountains and waters embody Tao in their forms',along with the idea'meaning lies outside form'in artistic practice contributed lo the integration of the system of Zhouyi and the system of Lao-Zhuang into one.The connotations of'Image'turn into the three-dimensional structure of'form','meaning'and'Tao'from the dual structure of'meaning'and'form'.The concept of Yijing was derived from'Image',Its appearance symbolizes the maturity of the theory of'image'.The drawback of the study of image rests with its lack of dynamic historical analysis.Therefore,the dimension of history should be added into this field of research.
