摘　　要：如何对当代文学史中的＂十七年＂文学进行合理、应有的文学史定位和价值评判,是亟待研究和深思的一大课题。因为这不仅是这段文学史的具体评价问题,而且还关联着当代文学史的传承和创新。对此,董之林女士深入当时政治、经济和文化背景,论述＂十七年＂小说如何展现出革新与守成、现代与传统相间而成的文学生态图景,并提出了诸多经得起时间推敲的学理观点。It is an important topic that worth urgent study and consideration to give the contempory seventeen-year literature a rational position in the history of literature and judge its values, not only because we should speci？cally pass a judgement on this historic period of literature, but also because it concerns the succession and innovation of the contemporary Chinese literature. Ms.Dong Zhi Lin, the writer,provides us a literary vista of‘the seventeen-year’novels that reveal how reform was intermingled with conservation, modernity with tradition through in-depth analysis of the contemporary political, economic and cultural background, and proposes many scholastic observations that can bear the test of time.
