摘　　要：鉴于阅读在英语学习中的重要性,对阅读策略的培训及引导将使与英语教学相关的师生受益匪浅,但近年来对阅读策略的研究较为关注英语专业学生或是沿海城市的学生,本文基于边疆地区一所以少数民族学生为主体的二级本科院校红河学院,探讨在英语阅读实践中对非英语专业学生进行阅读策略的引导。Taking the fundamental role of reading in EFL（English as Foreign Language）into consideration,it is inevitable to instruct reading strategies which would be beneficial to both teachers and learners.Since much focus is paid to the main body of Non-English majors in coastal or developed cities,this article aims to guide English teachers to instruct reading strategies in EFL settings,especially in the setting of frontier region in China.Hence,the discussion is carried out on the basis on of Honghe College,which is located in Yunnan Province.The solution adopted is to instruct reading strategies in terms of different types of reading materials in the practice of reading.
