从右文说看“曷”之字义及“曷”声字族  

Analyzing the Semantic Meanings and Cognate Words of “hé” According to the View of Rightward Phonetic Symbol(the Youwen Theory)

摘　　要：根据＂右文说＂理论,形声字的声旁往往有表音兼表义的作用。考察以＂曷＂做声旁的字,这类字不仅读音上与＂曷＂相关,而且字义上也存在着相关性,即都与＂停止＂义有关。According to the View of Rightward Phonetic Symbol（the Youwen Theory）,the phonetic complement of a pictophonetic word often indicates its sound and meaning.The paper studies the cognate words with ＂hé＂ as the phonetic complement and finds out that words of this type are not only phonetically similar to ＂hé＂,but also semantically related to it,that is,the meaning of ＂ stop＂.
