摘　　要：中西文化的本质差异是教育理论本土化问题形成的根本原因,而对中西文化差异的清晰把握却是教育理论本土化的实现前提。作为世界教育理论一部分的中国教育学首先必须是中华民族的教育学,具有来自中国教育实践和传统的性质。对新时期中国文化性质的把握,是创建本土教育学所需要的,是新时期教育研究者的努力所向。The different culture between the east and west leads to the localization of education theory. And a clear grasping of the difference between the two cultures is the prerequisite to achieve the localization of educational theory. Chinese pedagogy, as a part of the world＇ s educational theory, must be the pedagogy of our nation. It should be with the features of the educational practice and custom in China. To grasp the nature of Chinese culture in new time is be needed in creating the Chinese pedagogy, also, it point out the direction for the researcher in the new era.
