摘　　要：文章探讨英汉平行语料库对翻译普遍性、翻译规范和译者风格等翻译研究的积极作用及具有的研究潜能和需要克服的局限。This paper probes into the positive role of English-Chinese parallel corpus in the study of the universals of translation,the norms of the translation and the style of the translator.Although this approach has shown great potential in translation studies,its limitations should not be ignored.
