摘　　要：素质教育是当今教育关注的热点。如何优化英语教学，提高英语学习效率，是每个英语教育工作者都关注的问题，而情感教育是素质教育的一个重要层面。情感教育的实施有利于学生创新素质的培养，引导积极的情感也是搞好英语教学的关键。Quality education is the hot topic in modern education. How to optimize English teaching and improve English learning effect is a problem each educator must concern, while sentiment education is an important aspect in quality education. The implementation of sentiment education is helpful to the cultivation of students＇ innovative quality and inducing positive sentiment is the decisive factor in accomplishing English teaching.
