摘　　要：在我国英语专业快速发展的大背景下，面对越来越激烈的竞争，地方性高师院校英语专业要生存和发展，就必须以学校自身的办学定位和特色为依托，突出师范性，彰显英语专业人才培养特色，只有这样才能获得可持续发展的内在动力。With rapid development and fierce competition of English major in China, in order to survive and progress, the English major in local normal universities must rest on the orientation and characteristics of the university itself, highlight the pedagogic nature and underline the personnel training features so as to gain access to great internal dynamics in sustainable development.
