摘　　要：后期洋务运动的主要代表张之洞是从传统派转化而来的洋务派,其人才教育思想和实践经历了一个发展变化的过程。思想方面,表现为由"通经致用"到"中体西用";实践方面,则从创办传统书院到传统书院、新式学堂并举。其转变的原因是多方面的:作为传统派时并不排斥西学;以"致用"作为有用之学的标准;抚晋期间的实践;中法战争中的经历。From Traditional group to Westernization group,notable changes have taken place in the thought of talent education of Zhang Zhi-dong.In the aspect of thoughts,he has converted from ＂Tong-jing Zhi-yong＂ to ＂Zhong-ti Xi-yong＂;in practice,instead of founding traditional academy only,both Traditional Academy and new school are founded by him.There are complicated factors that lead to the changes,mainly four reasons： not excluding Western Learning,using ＂Zhi-yong＂ as the standard of learning,practicing during his governing of Shan Xi province,experiences in the Sino-French war.
