摘  要:高级英语是英语专业高年级学生的一门主干课程,其词汇量大、篇章结构复杂、体裁多样、文化意蕴浓厚,给教学造成一定的难度。而语境与语言密不可分,本文从高级英语教学目标出发,围绕语境理论,深入思考语言、情景和文化语境对高级英语教学的启示,探析以语境为中心实施高级英语教学,希望能提高教学效果,真正实现学生英语水平质的飞跃。Advanced English,as a key course for advanced learners in English major,is characterized with large vocabulary,complicated textual construction,wide variety of genres and rich cultural elements,which brings some difficulties to teaching and learning.Context is closely related to language.This paper,based on Advanced English teaching aims and the theory of context,tries to probe Advanced English teaching and learning from the perspective of linguistic,situational and cultural context,to improve the efficiency of both teaching and learning.
