《天净沙·秋思》英译的修改——与Schlepp先生商榷

摘　　要：从功能语言学的角度,形式与意义的对等是诗曲翻译的最高境界。对元朝马致远《天净沙.秋思》的多个英译本进行研究分析时,对源文的理解特别是对"昏鸦"的"昏"字等有新的定义;并在Schlepp译本的基础上,集翁显良译本,周方珠译本,丁祖馨和Burton Raffel译本等之所长,进行了修改。因此特与Schlepp及众家商榷。From the perspective of functional linguistics,＂formal and meaning equivalence＂ is viewed as the supreme realm in poetry translation.Through the analyses of the various English versions of Ma Zhiyuan＇s Qu poem Tune to ＂Sand and Sky＂-Autumn Thoughts） and the understanding of the source text,especially the new definition of ＂hun＂ in ＂hunya＂ in the poem,a new revised version is acquired,which is based on Schlepp＇s version and borrows strong points from other versions of Weng Xianliang＇s,Zhou Fangzhu＇s,Ding Zhuxin Burton Raffel＇s.Accordingly,the paper is to make a discussion on it with Schlepp and other experts.
