摘　　要：2010年12月10至12日"首届全国外语教师教育与发展专题研讨会"在华南师范大学举行。来自国内外高校学术界、基础教育前线和技术前沿的专家、学者和教师围绕着四个特色主题进行了深入的探讨,包括:基于教育信息技术的教师专业发展、语料库提升教师语言意识和教学科研能力、多模态语料库与教师专业发展、以及教师信息素养能力研究。The 1 st National Symposium on Foreign Language Teacher Education and Development was held in South China Normal University on December 10 -12, 2010. Participants from tertiary institutions, schools and the technical circle had indepth discussion on the following four themes ： （ 1 ） information technology - based teacher development; （2） enhancing teachers＇ language awareness and teaching/research competence through corpora; （3） multimodel corpora and teacher development; （4） teachers＇information technology competence.
