摘 要:借鉴西方后现代理论思想,对文学进行反本质主义的再提问,是新世纪以来中国文艺学教材中的一大转向,但在转向过程中却存在着误诊和误读。后现代理论是对思考可能性的开放性拓展,不能简化为反本质主义;反本质主义只是文学提问方式的一种,绝非惟一正确的进步模式,它只能解决文学精神形态层面上的一部分问题;以为采取反本质主义提问方式就能解决目前中国文学理论的危机,势必陷入新的误区;几部教材的反本质主义的策略其实暗含着浓厚的本质主义色彩,它们在逃离传统文学提问方式的同时又落入了传统文学研究的基本范式。It is a great change in textbooks of literature and art in China since the start of the new century that post-modernistic theory is applied to anti-essentialist re-questioning literature. However, there are some misdiag- noses and misinterpretations in the process of change. Post-modernism cannot be simplified as anti-essentialism, for it means an open extension of considering probability. As one of many ways of literature questioning, anti-essential- ism, which explores some questions as regards literary ideology, is by no means the only proper progressive one. So the attempt to rid Chinese literary theory of the current crisis by adopting an anti-essentialist questioning will lead to another misunderstanding. A careful examination of several textbooks of literature and art shows that their anti-essentialist strategy actually shows thick trace of essentialism. In other words, These textbooks falls back again in the basic pattern of traditional literary study in their attempt to avoid the questioning means of traditional literature.
