摘　　要：双语词典是语言学习的常用工具。但那些设有词源信息的学习型双语词典中,有的词典提供的词源过于简单,有的词典使用太多复杂的符号和缩略语,从而导致了词源信息不被重视甚至"不为人知"。而改善双语词典中词源信息的设置,是解决这一问题的有效办法。English-Chinese Dictionaries are useful tools for language learners.Among those dictionaries with etymology information,some offer too simple information,others use too many complicate symbols and abbreviation,which result in the fact that few people pay attention to etymological information even don＇t know what etymological information is.Therefore,it＇s necessary to improve the readability of etymological information in English-Chinese Dictionaries.
