加拿大里贾纳大学ESL教学评述

摘　　要：ESL是美国和加拿大为母语不是英语的移民、学生等开设的英语教学课程。根据在加拿大里贾纳大学ESL中心的听课观察、访谈,结合二语习得中的有关理论,着重分析和探讨了ESL教学的课程体系、教学理念、教学内容、教学方法和课堂教学管理以及对我国大学英语教学的启示。ESL is a kind of English teaching in U.S.A.and Canada for new immigrants and students whose native language is not English.Based on the observations and interviews in ESL in the University of Regina and combined with the theories in second language acquisition,the paper discusses and analyzes the ESL teaching in its teaching rationales,contents,methods,classroom managements and the enlightenments it has for our college English teaching.
