摘　　要：中国特色词语内涵丰富,翻译时极大地考验着译者的语境认知能力。语用学主要研究语境中的意义,而语境是翻译中理解和表达的基础,因而语用与翻译的联姻可以使翻译研究获得启示与解释力。从这个意义上说,Verschueren的语用顺应论为其翻译活动提供了一个极其有益的视角。Translating the typical Chinese expressions with rich connotations greatly tests a translator′s cognitive ability in a context.Pragmatics is mainly concerned about the meaning in a given context while translation is based on the understanding of a given context.Therefore,the combination of pragmatics with translation is conducive to translation research.In this sense,Verschueren′s Adaptation Theory provides a good perspective for its translation.
