外籍教师在英语第二课堂活动中的作用

摘　　要：英语第二课堂活动作为第一课堂的有益补充,在推进英语这门以实践为主的学科建设方面起到重要作用。外籍教师参与第二课堂活动的教学与管理,适应了时代发展潮流。一方面,外籍教师通过运用先进的教学方法和理念,传播了二语文化,激发了学生的学习兴趣,有效地提高了教学质量;另一方面,由于引进渠道等原因,难以把握外籍教师的学历结构、服务期限等;除此之外,过分依赖外籍教师,会造成第二课堂管理松散、其他教师缺乏参与热情等问题。因此,必须充分发挥外籍教师的优点,改进不足之处,有效促进第二课堂活动的发展。Extra curriculum is the beneficial accomplishment of college English teaching.It plays a very important role in promoting English teaching whose emphasis is on practice.Recently,it is an irresistible trend for foreign teacher taking part in Chinese college English teaching.On one hand,foreign teacher has advanced teaching method and technique.They effectively spread the second–language culture,stimulate Ss＇ learning enthusiasm and improve teaching quality.On the other hand,it is hard for us to master the teaching level and service period because of the limited enployment source.Furthermore,overly dependent upon foreign teacher will decrease the zest of Chinese teacher and the management will be loose.Therefore,we must look at the facts objectively,make best use of the advantages and improve the disadvantages,so that the extra curriculum can be deeply developed.
