摘　　要：标记主位是一定语境下非标记主位的变体,它的使用体现出特定语境下的语用意义和交际目的。标记主位的选择有其特殊原因,可以从认知、语境、语篇、文体和修辞等方面考虑标记主位的选择。The marked theme is a variant of the unmarked theme in a given context. The choice of the marked theme expresses certain pragmatic meaning and communicative purposes. Various reasons for choosing the marked theme instead of the un marked theme in English discourse are discussed, based on the relevant theories of cognition, context, discourse, style and rhetoric, so as to know more about its uniqueness and charm
