摘　　要：通过分析英语动词进行体的基本意义和静态动词的属性特征,探究英语进行体使用静态动词现象背后的认知因素,揭示出理解静态动词进行体的关键在于把握进行体和动词与语句中其它成分之间的相互协调与照应,既要把握进行体的语义实质,也要掌握静态动词的表意功能及其语用根据,这对英语动词进行体的教学具有重要的启发意义。By analyzing the basic meaning of English progressive aspect and the characteristics of static verbs,this paper probes into the cognitive factors behind the phenomenon of English static verbs used in the progressive aspect.Then it indicates that the key to understanding the phenomenon of English static verbs in the progressive form is to coordinate such verbs and other related components in a sentence,which may be of much significance to the teaching and learning of English static verbs in the progressive form.
