摘　　要：通过对部分汽车企业的调查,针对省属院校车辆工程专业毕业生在工程能力方面的不足,在教学实践中,从专业建设的内容、方法和手段等方面进行了积极的探索。在教学计划的制定、理论与实践环节的教学、毕业设计改革等方面进行了研究。修改制定了重在学生工程能力培养的教学计划;对理论和实践教学环节进行了有机的组合;并在优选课程设计的内容,筛选毕业设计题目,保证设计质量;培养青年教师工程实践经验等方面进行了探索。To improve the capacity for engineering practice of the automobile engineering majors in provincial universities, this paper states the reform and construction of the professional contents-building and teaching methods in practice teaching. Teaching plan, theory and practice teaching curriculum as well as graduation design reform have been discussed based on investigating some automobile enterprises. The teaching plan has been emended to stress students＇ capacity for engineering practice. Some aspects have been explored, such as integrating theory with practice in teaching,optimizing the contents of curriculum design, selecting the subjects engineering experience. of graduation design, and developing young teachers＇
