摘　　要：运用英汉平行语料库,通过分析对"眼"的隐喻语义进行分类,考察在英汉翻译过程中对"眼"的认知模式是如何从英语中转换到汉语中的,从而考查基于"眼"的概念隐喻在英汉语认知理解的阐释过程中的共性和差异。This article investigates how the metaphorical cognitive patterns embodied in English ＂eye＂are transferred into Chinese in translation,based on the semantic network of English word ＂eye＂,working with the examples from an English and Chinese parallel corpus.The result reflects the commonalities and differences at the cognitive level between English and Chinese language with a few of them are unique to either of the two languages.
