摘　　要：库切小说主要关注的是当代后殖民语境下,存在于后殖民国家南非以及世界其它后殖民国家和地区中普遍存在的诸多社会和民族问题,指出问题的实质在于各种形式的主体性压迫,以及源于西方的现代理性在整个世界范围内的破产,因此必须对主体性加以消融,并重建现代理性,从而完成在后殖民语境下和谐社会的构建。In his novels,coetzee mainly corncerns himself with the social and national problems that,in the postcolonial context,widely exist in South Africa and other postcolonial countries or regions,and sugesting,by his novels,all these problems are really caused by the subjective oppression in different forms and the bankruptcy of the western traditional rationality through out the modern world.Therefore,the subjectivity must be deconstructed and the modern rationality must be reconstructed,before a harmonious sociey can be built up in the postcolonial context.
