摘　　要：机构学是机械工程的重要基础。文章讲述了机构学的产生和发展,及其在提高国家竞争力上的重要作用,并对现代机构学的新发展趋势和内容进行概括。指出可控机构、机械系统的概念设计、变胞机构等的研究对现代机构学的发展有重要意义。The theory of mechanisms is the important foundation of mechanical engineering. This paper introduces the emergence and development of the theory of mechanisms, expounds that the theory of mechanisms plays an important role in improving the nations competitiveness and summaries the new development trend and content of the theory of mechanisms. The research of controlled mechanisms, the conceptual design of mechanical system and metamorphic mechanism have important meaning to the modem theory of mechanisms.
