摘　　要：通过阐述英语交际教学法的概念和特点,结合第二语言习得理论和学与教心理学的研究结果,指出英语课堂教学应回归学生主体,教师应扮演设计者、组织者、管理者和评价者的角色。According to the second language acquisition theory and teaching and learning psychology research, the paper analyzes the characteristics of the English Communicative Teaching Approach and gives the proposal to the teachers in term of how to design the English class, organize and administrate the class and assess the learners English ability.
