黄芪多糖对内毒素中毒小鼠的影响

摘  要:作者用黄芪多糖(APS)对大脑杆菌内毒素中毒小鼠的影响进行了研究。结果表明,预先给予APS能明显提高内毒素中毒小鼠的存活率;对内毒素中毒鼠肝脏内ATP含量及EC值下降具有拮抗作用。上述作用均呈剂量依赖性。同时在体试检测知APS对中毒小鼠肝匀浆具有抗脂质过氧化作用,电镜显示APS可改善内毒素处理鼠肝脏线粒体结构的损伤。Among Chinese traditional medicine, Astragalusis regarded as a major energy reinforce agent. Recent studies have demonstrated that it could improve the malfunctions and damaged tissues or cells in different kind of diseases in humanbeing and experimental animals. In order to evaluate the biochemical mechanisms of its action, an active component, polysaccharide (APS) was isolated from it. APS has been studied on the protective effects of E. coli endotoxin induced damages in mice. The results showed that the survival rate of mice intoxicated by endotoxin could be raised when they were pretreated by APS. The content of ATP and the value of aoenylate energy charge in mice liver inhibited by endotoxin were corrected. These effects of APS are significantly dose—dependent. Meanwhile, the TBA reactant and reduced glutathione in mice liver were determined and the results revealed that APS possessed an antioxidation action. The ultramicroscopic observation showed that the injured membrane of the crest of mitochondria was ameliorated by APS pretreatment. We concluded from these results, that APS can protect endotoxin—induced toxic damages in mice through the elevation of ATP level and EC value in the mice liver; probably this is the main action of Astragalus.
