《辽史》与辽人语境中的契丹西楼

摘　　要：今本《辽史》有关契丹西楼的记载,以《太祖本纪》中保留的3条记录最为原始,故其史料价值独高。契丹西楼最早是指代辽朝初年行政中心所在的地域名称,而非特指某处或某组具体建筑。辽朝初年,其行政中心曾经有过一个由西楼到上京的历史发展过程。契丹西楼得名应该早于公元912年,神册三年(918)皇都建成后,在辽人语境中,西楼遂改称皇都。到了会同元年(938)十一月太宗诏改"皇都为上京"以后,皇都之称则又停废,从此直到辽亡,官方正式文献中始终都称上京。Taizu Biography of Emperors retained three of the most original records about the Khitan West building in the history of Liao dynasty,so it contains the highest historical value.Khitan west building most early refers to the region name,which is the administration center of Liao Dynasty in early times,but is not referring in particular to somewhere or some group of concrete constructions.Administrative center of the early years of the Liao dynasty had experienced a process of a West building to the historical development of the Shangjing.That Khitan west building got its name should be earlier than the year 912.Khitan,in the Shence three years（918） upon completion of the Imperial capital,in the Liao dynasty people＇s language environment,capital city of the West building was renamed to imperial capital.In November the first year of Huitong（938）,Taizong issued edict to modify to change the emperor capital to Shangjing,and the capital then stopped using the name of the Imperial Capital,and from then on until the demise of the Liao dynasty,official documents are always referring to Shangjing.
