论民族院校在少数民族文化传承中的地位与作用——以湖北民族学院为例

摘　　要：保护、传承少数民族文化是民族院校责无旁贷的义务和使命。本文以湖北民族学院的实践与探索为例,从办学宗旨、人才培养、教育教学、科学研究、社会服务五个方面讨论了民族院校在保护、传承少数民族文化方面的独特优势与贡献。Personnel training, scientific research, social work and inheritance and innovation of culture are basic functions of modern university. The preservation and inheritance of ethnic culture is an obligation and main mission to universities for nationalities. This paper discussed the special advantages and the contributions of universities for nationalities in the fields of the protection and the inheritance of ethnic culture through five aspects such as school missions, personnel training, education and teaching, scientific research and social service in practice and exploration.
