航海英语谚语在专业英语教学中的应用

摘　　要：谚语是语言的一个组成部分,是涵盖文化价值观和文化信念的最佳载体.本文从6个方面以实例阐析了航海英语谚语在教学中的应用.航海英语谚语不仅可以作为好的语言要素例子应用于航海英语教学,而且可以作为进一步研究文化知识的有效工具.As a component of language,proverbs are the optimal carrier of cultural values and cultural beliefs.This paper exemplifies in six respects the application of maritime English proverbs in English teaching.The result shows that maritime English proverbs can be used not only as sound language elements in maritime English teaching but also as an effective tool for further study of cultural knowledge.
