摘　　要：胡锦涛总书记在庆祝清华大学建校100周年大会上的重要讲话,对新时期高等教育人才培养目标做了明确指示,即要培养德才兼备优秀人才。为此我们必须深刻认识时代发展给人才培养目标提出的挑战,准确把握培养德才兼备优秀人才的基本内涵,并努力加强师资队伍建设,认真落实加强德才双馨师资队伍建设的具体要求。In the Tsinghua University 100th Anniversary Celebration Meeting, CCP Sectary-General Hu Jingtao made an important speech which specified the high education talents cultivating objective during the new period, and emphasized that the talents should be equipped with both good virtue and high professional capability. Therefore, we must emphasize the challenge in talents cultivating objective made by the new times, and we must get a clearer idea about the connotation of the cultivation of the talents with both good virtue and high professional capability, and we must strengthen teaching staff construction and implement strictly the concrete requirements of the construction of teaching staff.
