《儒林外史》英译本中文化信息的异化翻译

摘　　要：《儒林外史》是一部具有丰富中国特色文化内涵的古典名著。本着忠实再现中国文化,尽可能多地让西方读者领略中国文化的魅力的翻译目的,杨宪益夫妇在翻译文化信息时主要采用了异化策略。本文收集了《儒林外史》中俗语,比喻,专有名词等具有代表性的文化信息及其在译本中的对应翻译,从异化翻译策略的角度进行了分析,从而发现采用异化策略有利于最大程度再现原文所反映的中国文化习俗、审美观和价值观,推动中国文化向西方传播,促进西方对中国的了解。The Scholars is a classic literary work with rich Chinese traditional cultural information. Yang Xianyi and his wife mainly adopt foreignization in translating the cultural information in order to faithfully reflect the glamour of Chinese culture. This thesis collects some typical cultural information like idiom, metaphor and proper noun as well as their corresponding translation in The Scholars to make an analysis from the perspective of foreignization, discovering that foreignization helps reflect Chinese cultural tradition, aesthetics and values effectively, thus promoting Chinese culture to the west countries and helping westerners learn more about China.
