摘　　要：苏轼一生尽管忧患连连,但就整个中国古代文学史来看,他实乃古往今来最得时幸遇的士人之一。自小不学"时文"的苏轼参加科举考试的当年,正赶上主考官欧阳修欲借这次考试改变五代以来浮靡雕琢的文风;苏轼的文章恰好符合欧阳修树立的新标准,便被录为第二。苏轼的仕途尽管受到过不少挫折,但那只是奸佞小人们的嫉恨作梗使然;他所遇到的四朝君主对他的忠心、才华则始终坚信不疑、赏识有加。就苏轼的个性来说,若生在别的朝代恐怕早已性命不保;但他却生在一个以"不杀大臣及言事官"为祖训的王朝里,使他不仅得以保全生命,而且充分实现了自己的人生价值。在苏轼的生前身后,他的文艺、学术、政事等才能均得到了古今中外人民的充分肯定与推崇。Although the life of Su Shi had a lot of sufferings, he was one of the most fortunate persons in Chinese history accord- ing to the whole Chinese literature history. The fortunate opportunities of Su Shi could be examined from such four aspects as, firstly, his fortunate opportunity in imperial examination, Su Shi did not learn the essays prescribed for civil examinations since his childhood but Ouyang Xiu, the chief in charge of the examination, wanted to use the examination to change the flashy but not substantial writing style since Five Dynasties when Su Shi took part in the imperial examination and the essay of Su Shi satisfied the new standard of Ouyang Xiu by lucky coincidences and so he got the second place, secondly, his fortunate opportunity in offi- cial career, although Su Shi had many setbacks in his official career, his sufferings resulted from the actions of those villains, the four Emperors he experienced had no doubt about his loyalty and his literary and artistic talent and prized him a lot, thirdly, his fortunate opportunity in life, according to his personality, if Su Shi lived in other dynasties, his life would have been ended earli- er, however, he lived in a dynasty with taking not killing the chancellors and the cadres who had different opinions as the motto, he not only preserved his life but also sufficiently realized his life value, fourthly, his fortunate opportunity in his official ranks, the art, academic contribution and official capacity and so on of Su Shi were and are adequately confirmed and respected at home and abroad during his living and after his death.
