摘　　要：本研究调查了我国部分英语教师对语言教学研究，特别是研究方法的态度以及实践情况。调查结果显示，相当一部分调查对象具有科研兴趣和一定的研究基础，并注意到当前国内外语教学研究规范化的趋势、总体来看，调查对象对理论研究的指导意义评价不高；对量化研究的态度从敬畏到抵触不一；对质化研究的观念认同但理解模糊；对“经验总结”的实践认同大于观念认同。A survey regarding TEFL research methods was conducted on 168 college English professors inChina. Results showed that a considerable proportion of the subjects had interest and some training in research. Ingeneral, the practical value of theoretical studies was not perceived high; attitudes towards quantitative researchranged from total identification to total rejection, knowledge of qualitative research was limited though theunderlying principles were accepted; the production of 'summing-up reports of eXPerience' was much higher than its consumption.
