摘　　要：具有数千年传统的中国文化在其独特性、影响力和对世界文明的贡献上,足以成为欧洲文化、美国文化之外的"第三极文化"。中国文化经历几千年逐步形成、确立、巩固并为人们普遍认同、自觉遵守、代代相传的核心价值和基于这些核心价值所生成和建构的民族精神,是"第三极文化"最重要的内涵。"第三极文化"的首要目标是要根据时代和社会发展需要,通过进一步梳理、总结、提炼、继承和发扬中国传统文化中的核心价值,重塑全民族的文化自信,进一步振奋民族精神,为中华民族伟大复兴提供强大的精神动力。其最终目标是通过"会通"欧洲文化、美国文化及各种文化,实现自我"超胜"和整体"超胜",为构建和谐的世界文化,推动人类文明与进步做出应有的贡献。Chinese culture,with thousands of years tradition,can be referred to as ＂the third pole culture＂ outside of the European culture and American culture for its unique characteristics,influence and contribution to world civilization.The core value which have been gradually formed,established and consolidated through thousands of years and which have been generally accepted,conscientiously observed and handed down from generation to generation and the national spirit generated and constructed on the basis of these core values,are the most important connotation of ＂the third pole culture＂.The primary goal of ＂the third pole culture＂ is to remold the cultural self-confidence of the whole nation,inspire the national spirit and provide mighty spiritual motive power for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,by further sorting out,summarizing,refining,inheriting and carrying forward the core value of Chinese traditional culture according to the needs of times and social development.Its ultimate goal is to realize self ＂surpassing＂ and overall ＂surpassing＂ through the comprehensive study of European culture,American culture and other cultures so as to build a harmonious world culture and make a due contribution to the promotion of human civilization and progress.
