摘　　要：哀牢地区是一个产盐之地。和昆明夷一样,哀牢夷也是一个善于煮盐的民族。通过语言学上的对比研究,《后汉书.南蛮西南夷列传》中提到的哀牢夷的语言"隆"字应该属于藏缅语。哀牢夷是古羌人的一个支系。Ailao is an area rich in salt. Ailao Yi is a minority good at steaming salt, which is the same as Kunming Yi minority. Through a comparison study of linguistics, a conclusion is drawn that the word ＂long＂ in Ailao Yi language referred in the Southwestern Yi Collected Biographies, History of the Later Han Dynasty should belong to Zangmian language. Ailao Yi is a clan of the ancient Qiang people.
