摘　　要：外贸函电在对外贸易中的应用非常广泛,是国际贸易专业的核心课程.课程应突出培养学生动手、动口的实践能力,但从书本上学到的外贸函电理论和实际应用有一定的差距,有必要改进教学模式和方法.Seminar是激发学生创造性的教学方式,将其运用到教学中,可以培养学生用英语进行交流、解决实际问题和自主学习的能力.The application of English business correspondence is very wide in foreign trade,and it is a core course international trade profession.This course should stress on developing students＇ practical abilities in doing and speaking.But correspondence theory mastered from books and practical application has a gap,so it is necessary to improve teaching methods and models.As a creativity driving teaching approach,Seminar in the correspondence teaching can cultivate students＇ ability in using English to communicate and solving problems and researching autonomously.
