摘 要:心象是人脑中以感觉信息形式存储并再现的事物形象,它在人的认知活动中发挥重要作用。认知心理学的大量研究表明,心象与阅读理解紧密相关,无论是母语阅读还是二语阅读,心象的产生均可促进读者对语篇的理解和记忆。双重代码理论认为,心象效应源于人脑中的言语码和心象码被同时激活。已有的研究成果启示我们,在中国EFL阅读教学中,应对学生进行必要的心象策略培训,并注意教学材料的选择、多媒体手段的运用及学生情感反应的引导,以充分发挥心象对学生阅读的积极影响。Mental imagery ,which plays an important role in the cognitive activities , refers to any image stored in the form of sensory information and created in the mind in the absence of the real object or event. Numerous studies in the field of cognitive psychology have demonstrated the close links between mental imagery and reading comprehension, and facilitative effects of mental imagery on reading and memory in both L1 and L2 reading. Dual Coding Theory postulates that imagery effect results from the activation of both logogens and imagens. In view of previous studies, we should attach great importance to the mental imagery strategy training, the choice of teaching materials, the use of multi-media and the guidance of emotional responses in the teaching of EFL reading with the aim to exert the positive effects of imagery on students.
