摘　　要：辣椒是一种辛辣蔬菜,有开胃消食、御寒祛风湿之食疗作用,很多人嗜食成瘾。一些人将辣椒文化提升到族群精神的标志、地方文化的标志之地位,甚至有人还提出"湖南辣椒文化"要申报世界非物质文化遗产。这些人在认识上弄错了"辣椒文化是族群认同的半标志物"的性质。认识上的偏差,导致了行动上的尴尬。Chili,a kind of spicy vegetables,has therapeutic effect of stimulating one＇s appetite,promoting digestion,helping one keep the cold out and removing rheumatism he or she suffers from.There has been speculation that chili culture be lifted to the symbol of ethnic group spirits and local culture.There has even been suggestion for Hunan chili culture application for world intangible cultural heritage.There has been a mistake in understanding the nature of chili culture being half a marker for ethnic group identity,which gives birth to embarrassment in actions.
