摘　　要：以原版《范氏大代数》(A College Algebra)及其四部汉译本为主,从名词术语、翻译体例与名词、印刷错误等方面对汉译《范氏大代数》进行比较分析,并对民国时期使用英文原版数学教科书问题进行讨论.When the book ＂A College Algebra＂ was introduced into China, many important publishing houses have published its translations. Some translations were reprinted many times. The book had a great impact on modern mathematics education in China. Focusing on terminologies, translation styles, translation levels, and other aspects including printing errors, this paper analyzes and compares the original book in English, and the four versions of translation by Gao Peiyu, Shen Xuan, Luo Shizeng and Zheng Zongyuan, respectively. Other original mathematics textbooks in English published in the Republic are discussed also.
