摘　　要：法律文本中普遍存在着词汇名词化现象,英语立法文本中的名词化词汇特征主要表现在其词形上的可溯源性、表义抽象化、信息密度扩大化和使抽象语义再具化的特点。对此加以探究能更好地帮助人们掌握法律英语中立法语言的词汇特征。The texts of legal English are generally featured with nominalization. This paper intends to employ some typical examples to discuss the nominalization of legislative texts in English,which is featured with traceability in morphology, enlargement in its amount of information and its density, and abstraction in its presentation. In certain situation,nominalization even features the legislative language with re-concrete presentation. Such research can better help people master the characteristics of legal English.
