摘　　要：构建终身教育体系作为一项宏大的系统工程，已经引起全社会的高度重视和关注。高等学校在这项重大工程中，应该高擎终身教育、终身学习与学习型社会三大理念旗帜，创新终身教育研究方法．组建研究基地、建设理论支持系统，开启学科专业建设、培养终身教育专业人才，主动担当起终身教育时代和学习型社会所赋予的新使命。The construction of the lifelong education system is a great systematic project which has been attached with high attentions and concerns by the whole society. During the process, higher education institutions shall hold high the banners of lifelong education, lifelong learning and learning society to make innovations in researching methodologies of lifelong education, creating reaching bases, building theoretical supporting system, initiating disciplinary construction for the profession, and training lifelong education professionals. Higher education institutions shall actively take the new mission given by the lifelong education era and the learning society.
