摘　　要：严家显先生作为福建农林大学前身——福建省立农学院的创始人,其高等教育思想的主要特征是:融中外教育思潮之精华于一炉而具有鲜明的现代性和先进性;注重具体研究而具有强烈的实践性和创新性;以强国为宗、以学生为本而具有鲜明的目的性和丰富的情感性。As a founder of Fujian Provincial Agricultural College,the predecessor of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University,Yan Jiaxian had formed his higher education thought with the major characteristics such as integration of the essence of education ideology at home and abroad with modernity and advancement;focusing on particular studies with practice and innovation;and taking building a powerful country as the goal and putting students first with distinctive orientation and rich emotion sensibility.
