摘　　要：以cold的语义理解过程为例,分析指出,词汇的语义理解是一个复杂的心理认知过程,熟练地运用心理语言学相关知识掌握这一过程,对英语词汇习得和教学具有重要意义。Based on the case study of ＂cold＂,the article presents a semantic understanding of vocabulary and its processing from cognitive perspective,and holds that it is an important part in second language acquisition and teaching.
