英语定冠词the的语篇照应功能研究

摘　　要：尽管英语定冠词the只是一个小品词,但其在英语中却有着广泛的应用。语言学界关于定冠词the的研究表明,该词在语篇中具有十分重要的衔接功能,如语篇照应功能。为了更好的理解、掌握定冠词the的语篇照应功能,文章在总结、归纳已有关于定冠词the研究的基础上,运用语言学的相关理论,通过具体的例子,分析了定冠词the的语篇照应功能。The English definite article 'the' is just a particle,but it is widely used in English.Linguistic studies on the word 'the' show that it plays a very important role in textual cohesion,like textual anaphora.In order to help users better understand and master textual anaphora of the definite article 'the',the writer of this article,based on the previous studies,makes an analysis of the textual anaphora of'the'by making use of relevant linguistic theories.
