摘 要:《数学专业英语》是为学生进一步深造数学、研究数学的一种语言工具.从学生学习、教师教学、教材、师资4个方面对普通高师院校的《数学专业英语》教学情况展开调查研究,研究结果表明,学生对这门课程的认识比较到位,学生的英语基础有待提高,学生学习本门课程的目标有待明确,学生学习难点有待掌握;此课程实施的中英文双语教学深受学生欢迎,其教学方式有待进一步改进,考核方式应坚持全英文形式;《数学专业英语》教学缺乏优秀的教材和参考书,任课教师能胜任目前的教学.《数学专业英语》教学应从"激发学生学习兴趣,提升学习积极性和动力;改进教学方法,创造良好的专业英语学习氛围;重视授课教师的培养,提升师资水平;精心选择教材,增强教材可读性"4个方面进行改革.Specialty English in Mathematics is a language tool to further study mathematics for students. We investigated and analyzed the teaching of Specialty English in Mathematics from four aspects of learning, teaching, teaching materials, teachers in common advanced normal colleges. Results of the analysis showed that students had a clear understanding of this course, that the bilingual teaching in Chinese and English on the curriculum is welcomed by the students, that the teachers are competent for the present teaching. However, the results also display that the students foundation of English should be improved, the objective of learning this course is to be clarified, the difficulty of studying the course is to be overcome; the teaching methods of Specialty English in Mathematics could be improved, the assessment should adhere to the form of English and there is a great need of the excellent textbooks and reference books on this curriculum. Then we put forward teaching reform measures in four aspects: to stimulate students' interest in learning, improve their learning enthusiasm and motivation; to improve teaching methods and create good atmosphere of English learning; to pay attention to the training of teachers; carefully select the teaching materials and enhance the teaching.
