摘　　要：翻译是一种跨文化交际活动；副语言符号作为非言语交流方式，在人类交际中起着极其重要的作用。因而，如何积极有效地处理副语言符号英汉互译中的跨文化因素是一个值得重视的研究课题。本文从文化交流的角度出发，对副语言符号笔译的原则和方法进行了探讨。Translation can be defined as a type of high-level intercultural communication, while nonverbal symbols are of considerate importance in intercultural communication. Therefore, how to deal with the cultural information effectively in EC and CE translation should deserve researchers. attentions. From an intercultural approach, this paper discusses from an intercultural approach the principle and methods in translating nonverbal symbols.
