摘　　要：本文概述了2011年9月16日至18日在上海交通大学举行的中国英汉语比较研究会"翻译与当代中国文化建设"高层论坛的主要内容,评析了来自国内外三十多所院校的专家学者的学术见解,对翻译与现代中文和中国文化及中国翻译学理论构建等相关领域的研究现状、问题以及趋势进行了探讨,尝试勾勒这一研究领域的发展方向。The present article provides a terse description of the grand meeting—Senior Forum of China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese on 'Translation and Contemporary Chinese Culture Construction' , held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from Sept. 16, 2011 to Sept. 18, 2011. The metting presents a general review of the studies in the relation between translation and Chinese language and Chinese culture, and the development of translation studies in China, with particular emphasis on the construction of China's translation theories. Based on these generalizations, this article attempts to attract greater attention to the existing problems with current translation studies of China, profiling the future trends of China's translation studies.
