摘  要:文章分析了中美两国高校学生事务管理者在各自发展过程中的角色定位特点,比较后提出我国高校学生事务管理者作为思想政治教育者,其重要地位应长期坚守,但教育手段与方法有待改进;角色定位应始终以学生的全面发展为出发点和归宿,服务体现针对性,管理突出民主性;无论是作为教育者还是管理者、服务者,促进学生的学习和发展始终是第一要义。The paper analyzes the characteristic of role definition of student affair administrators in uni- versities and colleges between China and America in the development process, after comparison, it puts for- ward that as political and ideological educators, student affair administrators in Chinese universities and colle- ges should hold fast to their important positions, but the educational ways and methods still need to be im- proved; role definition should always take students'overall development as the starting point and destination, serve needs to be targeted, management should highlight democracy; whether as an educator or administra- tor, server, promoting students to learn and develop is essential for them all the time.
